Izzy is the newest member of the KQH team and her role is:

  • Junior Project Manager
  • Expanding knowledge in the world of healthcare MR
  • Developing relationships with clients and respondents
  • Assisting Project Directors with all aspects of project management

Career Summary

2015 – June 2017: Head Groom for Holly Payne Equestrian LLC

  • Responsible for daily operations of a professional equestrian facility
  • Responsible for facility maintenance and organization as well as care and medical treatment of 20+ performance horses
  • Travelled with top horses for national and international competitions in the USA and UK

2014 – 2015: Veterinary Technician at Heart of Chelsea Animal Hospital

  • Worked in a high-end, fast-paced 8 doctor practice in the heart of Manhattan
  • Formed active client partnerships to ensure a safe and fear-free environment for their beloved pets
  • Became proficient at all areas of small veterinary medicine, including phlebotomy, radiology, cytology and all other in house diagnostics

Education:

  • BS in Animal Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ

Specialist Therapy Areas

Some recent areas/subjects in which Ros has overseen fieldwork include:  ADPKD, allergic rhinitis, arthritis, breast implants, CDAD, chronic kidney failure, congestive heart failure, cystic fibrosis, diabetes,  epilepsy, HIV, IBS, imaging machines, MRSA,  myelofibriosis, nebulizer users, nuclear medicine, obesity,  oncology, RA, systemic fungal infections, wound management and urinary incontinence.

Izzy’s successes and assignment highlights

As Izzy has only recently joined, these are from her “previous life” …

  • Successfully flew two horses overseas in the fall of 2016 to attend the Burghley & Bleinham Palace Horse Trials with Professional Eventer Holly Payne Caravella – who placed Top 20 at both
  • Cared for horses at competitions up and down the East Coast of the USA, allowing them to earn consistent top placings

Izzy’s interests

Riding horses whenever the opportunity presents itself, specifically in the sport of three-day eventing.

Hiking, camping and rock scrambling in the most beautiful national parks in the US.

Visiting craft breweries and wineries to see what they have to offer.

Most recently Izzy has taken up fishing in  the hope of learning how to fly fish.
