As molecular diagnostics and pharmacogenomics become increasingly common, KQH is well placed to give you access to the lab personnel you need for your research.
We can recruit and have spoken to Lab Directors, Lab Managers, Molecular Biologists, Biomeds, Lab Technicians, Pathologists and Medical Geneticists.
To date our MDx / pharmacogenomics experience encompasses 15 different countries and has predominantly been in the Oncology area, although we have also researched testing for some orphan diseases such as Hunter’s.

Case Study
Assessing future plans for MDx testing in NSCLC
The brief
Our client, a global MR Company, wanted to assess the current level of testing of NSCLC patients for ALK translocations and to gain a picture of re-imbursement practices and future plans for MDx in this area.

Repeat studies won by our client following this research
Our approach
Our client provided a list of target Lab Directors in their key markets of Germany, Austria, Russia and Korea. We made contact with the target respondents and screened them to see if their lab did indeed test NSCLC patients for ALK translocations, and if not, where such testing would be done.
Where necessary we followed the trail to the correct labs / respondents who could speak of such testing, re-imbursement and future plans. In some countries we found funding was not available for such testing in large regions of the country and were able to feed this information back to our client.
Countries Involved
- Germany
- Austria
- Russia
- Korea
Outcome
A clear picture of the current use of this specific test was able to be presented for each country, together with the current reimbursement situation and likely future developments in this area.
