Case Study
Recruiting Payers at a National, Regional & Local level
The brief
To recruit those who were best placed to advise how a new psoriasis drug could get funding and onto national, regional and local treatment guidelines.
An extra challenge was the extremely limited moderator schedules available.
Our approach
UK – we successfully recruited 2 NICE and SMC Appraisal Committee members, 5 CCG Medicines Management professionals & 3 Chief Hospital Pharmacists
Germany – we spoke to 2 GBA Members/Advisers, 5 Sick Fund/KV Representatives and 3 Head Pharmacists
Italy – we gathered insight from 2 AIFA Members/Advisers, 5 PTOR Members/Advisers and 3 ASL representatives
Outcome
Our client was able to draw a comprehensive picture at the National, Regional and Local level of funding and treatment guidelines in all 3 countries. All interviews were completed within the very tight schedule as KQH leveraged relationships built up with key payers over the past 7 years.
